3D Printing At The Shed

What we can print

• Single-piece designs or multiple parts that fit within our 250 × 250 × 250 mm printer bed
• Personal-use projects (sorry, no commercial prints)
• Simple, practical designs, nothing too tricky or likely to fail mid-print (Things Lead Gareth will help you assess the trickiness of your project)

Materials

We usually have PLA in white, green, orange and black, but please check with us first. You’re welcome to bring your own filament, or we can order it in for you.

Prices

The cost is based on £3 per printing hour (this includes the in-house filaments we have in stock). This is charged in hour slots, so, for example, a print taking 1.5 hours will be £6.00. To give you an idea, the projects we’ve done in house so far have ranged from £3 – £25.

How it works

• Add your files to the estimator. We group parts onto as few plates as possible so you pay for the plate, not each part.
• We’ll check the design and email you a confirmed price.
• Once confirmed, we’ll print it and let you know when it’s ready to collect. Payment is taken when you collect.
